Responses Anonymity

The anonymity of the responses will depend on the preference of the survey-makers. They can choose whether to collect responses anonymously or to track respondents.

Survey-makers may collect personal information in two ways:

• by specifically asking for your personal details in the survey, and
• by setting up the survey collector options to automatically collect such information.

We provide several ways to send surveys and collect responses called collectors. Each collector type have different sets of settings and collector options that affect the survey-taking experience and what respondent’s information is being recorded.

• All collectors allow the survey-makers to turn Anonymous Responses on or off.
• All collectors allow the survey-makers to track IP addresses or not.
• Survey-makers can track email invitations by using the Email Invitation collector.

Privacy

Survey-makers may have their own privacy policies that applies to the surveys they make and that clarify how they handle the personal information they’ve collected.

• We advise you to review their privacy policies if available or contact the survey-maker directly to inquire about their privacy practices.
• If the collection processes were not explained in the introduction of the survey, please contact the survey-maker and confirm if your response is anonymous.
